Gremsy Pixy LR S-Port Gimbal
Purpose-Built for Precision
The Gremsy Pixy LR S-Port Gimbal is designed to deliver smooth and stable aerial footage using the Sony ILX-LR1 camera. With wide lens support and robust compatibility, it offers high flexibility across aerial imaging applications. It pairs perfectly with platforms like Pixhawk and CubePilot, ensuring professional performance in the field.
Supports a Broad Range of Lenses
From fixed primes to variable focal lengths, the Pixy LR supports multiple lenses including SEL35F28Z, SELP1635G, SEL55F18Z, and more. Even photography-only support is provided for the SEL85F18 lens, further expanding usage. This flexibility allows users to match the right lens to any aerial mission with ease.
Reliable and Smooth Camera Control
With Airpixel Entire R3 built-in, the system enables direct camera and gimbal control using Mavlink and Mavcam protocols. Whether you’re flying with Ardupilot or PX4, the control integration ensures smooth handling and efficient operations. Additionally, third-party gimbal control is supported via UART, SBus, and PPM interfaces.
Engineered for Optimal Power Use
The Pixy LR S-Port gimbal works on input power between 15V and 52V, adapting well to different drone setups. Despite its strong performance, it maintains a low static current of 6W and a dynamic operating current of 8.5W, preserving battery life during extended flights. Moreover, the locked motor current peaks at 43W under heavier load conditions.
Compact and Lightweight Design
Weighing just 462g for the gimbal alone and 29g for the S-Port, it contributes minimal weight to the overall drone payload. Its compact body, measuring 140 x 115 x 183mm, ensures easy integration even in tight aircraft setups. Meanwhile, the Pixy S/LR damping system reduces vibration, improving footage clarity.
Quick Mounting with S-Port
Thanks to the S-Port quick release, this gimbal offers fast deployment and removal. This also simplifies maintenance and transport while maintaining a secure, vibration-resistant connection.
