The Here4 Base  is a precise GNSS module. It comes from the trusted CubePilot brand. Importantly, it is compatible with both Ardupilot and PX4 systems. This base station greatly enhances flight navigation. It also connects smoothly to ground control stations. These include Mission Planner and QGroundControl. This allows for easy system monitoring.

The Here 4 Base utilizes advanced RTK technology. This provides remarkably precise position estimation. As a result, it surpasses standard GNSS systems. It achieves impressive centimeter-level accuracy. This high precision dramatically improves all your flight operations. The setup process is also quite straightforward. Here4 Base module supports multiple satellite constellations. You get coverage from BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, and GPS / QZSS. It handles up to four constellations concurrently. Moreover, it features multi-band GNSS support. This includes L1C/A, L1OF, L5, B1I, B2a, and E1B/C, E5a bands. This broad support ensures a quick and reliable lock. The Here 4 Base offers impressive positioning accuracy. It achieves 0.01 m + 1 ppm CEP in horizontal RTK mode. Furthermore, it boasts a 0.05 m/s velocity accuracy. Dynamic heading accuracy is a tight 0.3 degrees. It supports a fast navigation update rate. For instance, the RTK rate reaches up to 7 Hz with all four constellations. Its compact size and low weight make integration simple.

Specifications

The module dimensions are 40mm x 41mm x 11mm. Its total weight, including the cable, is only 43g. Without the cable, the weight drops to 18g. It operates reliably in a wide temperature range. This range is from -40 °C to 80 °C. The module uses an L1 & L5 SMA connector. Note that the external antenna is not included.

Acquisition times are very quick. Aided start takes only 4s for most constellations. Cold start is quick at around 27s with GPS+GLO+GAL+BDS. The horizontal position accuracy in PVT mode is 1.5 m CEP. This precision improves significantly with RTK. The receiver can handle high operational limits. It manages altitudes up to 80,000 m and speeds up to 500 m/s.
