High-Performance Visual and Thermal Imaging

The Gremsy Vio G1 is designed to meet the demanding needs of professionals in inspection, mapping, and surveillance missions. It combines a Sony-powered 4K zoom camera with a 640×512 thermal core, providing clear visuals even in challenging conditions.

Moreover, the radiometric thermal camera allows for detailed temperature analysis. This gives operators better insight during search and rescue, industrial inspections, and environmental surveys. Both imaging systems work together to give real-time feedback in any light condition.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder for Accurate Distance Measurement

One of Vio G1’s standout features is its integrated 2400m laser rangefinder. It offers two measurement modes—up to 3000 meters at 1Hz and 1250 meters at 10Hz. As a result, users can adapt based on the need for speed or precision.

Thanks to this built-in feature, operators can capture accurate range data without needing external tools. Therefore, it streamlines the mission while maintaining high accuracy.

Lightweight Yet Robust Design

Weighing only 854g, the Vio G1 is light enough for extended drone flights but strong enough for daily field use. Its compact size, 173 x 148 x 159 mm, allows it to be easily mounted on various UAV platforms, including Pixhawk, CubePilot, and Skynode.

Even better, the payload’s design ensures balance and flight stability, reducing strain on the drone and enhancing image clarity.

Flexible Control and App Integration

The Vio G1 can be controlled via UART or Ethernet for seamless integration with existing systems. It is also compatible with QGroundControl and the Gremsy Payload Assistant App, making mission control intuitive and efficient.

For added flexibility, an expansion board supporting SBUS control is currently in development. This means even broader compatibility for future operations.
