Description

Yaanendriya Syncore U1 High Performance Flight Controller

The SynCore U1 Flight Controller is a compact, high-performance flight controller engineered for drones, ground robots, and autonomous systems. Developed by Yaanendriya, this controller excels in real-time sensor fusion and advanced control algorithms. It features a powerful STM32H743VIH6 processor running at 480MHz. This processing power ensures smooth handling of complex flight stacks and external sensor data.

Whether you are building industrial platforms or conducting academic research, the SynCore U1 provides the reliability you need. It is fully compatible with PX4 and ArduPilot firmware. This flexibility allows for faster deployment across diverse vehicle types. The hardware is designed to handle high-vibration environments with ease. Consequently, it delivers steady control for quadcopters, VTOLs, and mobile UGVs alike.

Key Features

Redundancy is a core strength of the SynCore U1. It integrates dual IIM-42652 IMUs and an ICP20100 barometer. This redundant setup delivers cleaner data fusion and prevents single-point sensor failures. Additionally, the board features dual high-current BEC rails. The 5V and 12V outputs provide up to 2.5A each. Therefore, you can power your GNSS, cameras, and VTX directly from the controller.

The I/O capabilities are extensive for such a compact board. It includes 7 UART ports, I2C, SPI, and a USB-C interface. For motion control, 8 PWM outputs support DShot for modern ESCs. RC integration is also simplified with SBUS and CRSF-ready inputs. While it lacks an internal compass to avoid interference, it easily connects to external magnetometers via I2C.

Applications

The SynCore U1 is a versatile brain for UAVs, including mapping drones and complex VTOL aircraft. In the world of UGVs and AGVs, it powers logistics and inspection robots. Its robust design also suits UWVs and UUVs for underwater vehicle control. Researchers utilize the U1 for Robotics R&D, specifically in swarm systems and autonomy. Furthermore, it serves as a central hub for Sensor Fusion, integrating LiDAR, digital OSD, and high-precision GNSS modules.
